Universal Studios Singapore Sold Out Dates In July

Universal Studios Singapore

It’s still early July, but many weekend tickets for Universal Studios Singapore at Resorts World Sentosa are already sold out! These are the dates that are sold out as of today 9 July:
10 July (Sat), 11 July (Sun), 17 July (Sat), 24 July (Sat), 25 July (Sun), & 31 July (Sat).

That’s right! For the rest of July, you can forget about visiting USS at RWS during any weekend if you’ve not bought your tickets yet.

What? Such huge demand even when the star attraction Battlestar Galactica is still closed without any news of when it’s going to re-open! Absolutely amazing!

We know many of you will be disappointed, especially those who had plans to go USS. Fret not! Our team of travel experts have searched, Googled, begged, steal, and found… Tickets! Yes! There are still tickets available if you check with the Singapore travel agent.

You can’t book online from the RWS website because they’re sold out. But… some Singapore travel agencies still have tickets available (probably reserved for them). We just did a check on Asiatravel.com’s website, and found that you can still book tickets to USS on 24 July, one of those weekends that are “sold out”.

No need to thank us. We’re just happy to help tourists and Singaporeans alike. Good luck and happy holidays!

Good luck to the closed rollercoaster ride Battlestar Galactica too!

Marina Bay Sands SkyPark Opens

MBS Grand Opening

With the official grand opening of Marina Bay Sands (MBS) just over on 23 June 2010, the latest star attraction SkyPark opened on 24 June 2010.

2000 tickets were sold out on that day. Originally, only 1000 were planned but demand was overwhelming. Tickets are priced at S$20 for adults.

Locals & tourists were treated to spectacular views on the 57th floor. Most were impressed but some were disappointed that the 150-metre infinity pool, the world’s largest outdoor pool at that height, was not open to the public. That is exclusively for hotel guests only. Hotel room rates start from more than US$200.

This new rooftop hangout boasts a variety of restaurants and bars for a perfect chill-out on top of the world, well, at least Singapore. And we’ll certainly hope it’s cool up there. Nights in Singapore can become unbearably warm.

The Public Observation Deck will be open daily from 10am to 10pm.
